More G-Code
Business…this month on the BSN, I talk about John Chaney and what might be his final days on his job. Enjoy.
And sadly, the sports world is requiring that I continue to make clear parts of the G-Code. This time, Kobe Bryant is not the impetus of this discussion. This time, it’s Wake Forest point guard Chris Paul.
I hereby say that we either need to find the following clause on the Code, or we need to add it should it not already be there.
Unless your life’s on the line, never purposely hit a man in his unborn kids.

Duck Fook, Baby…
That’s right, Duck Fook. Carolina beat Dook today, even though they tried really hard to lose the game for a while. Down nine with three minutes to go, things looked pretty bleak. However, them boys got it right.
Nobody hates Dook more than me. Today was happy.
So to celebrate, it was time to hit Franklin Street, which is the main drag near UNC’s campus. While there, it became clear how black folks are different from white folks. Yes, this sounds like the beginning of a bad comedy routine, but we’ve got a big difference here…

How to Comment…and the end of I S S U E S
Business…the column this week is on why I think we need to bring downloading back around. Not that it ever really left, but there’s a great chance now that the new Fiddy record could land you in the clink. Speaking of Fiddy, I’m talking about him next week. For a preview, what I’ve got to say is about as nice as his new album. You tell me what that means.

An evening with Savion Glover
So, Aden, LB, Luther, and I went to Dook to see Savion Glover tap dance tonight. Perhaps you’re familiar with Savion, the light-skinned brother with the dreads that can be found anywhere a tap dancer is needed (he is the only person I can name that pays his bills with the art) and starred in the brilliant Bamboozled. Maybe you’ve seen his infusion of hip hop into tap dancing and thought that going to see him would be a good idea.
I’ll just say this…good thing I didn’t pay to see him.
