<description>It's hard not to be happy for the Heels after seeing the on-court celebration on Monday. Roy Williams can kiss my ass, I'm happier for Sean May and Co.

As far as baseball and opening day goes, I can't blame people (regardless of race) for not getting excited. When you play 162 games + the playoffs every year, one game just doesn't seem as big. Compare that to opening day in the NFL, where opening day = 1 game, but that's 1/16 of your season. MLB has been living off of home run chases for the last 5-7 years, and it's gonna take a lot of new stars and exciting games to make MLB relevant to the masses again. Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds had a chance to make it work, but Sosa got caught with a corked bat, and everyone thinks Barry is juicing (Sammy too!)...even though no steroid in the world can make you swing a bat as fast and as accurately as Barry does...and MLB is right back where it started when 61 was still the number to chase.

The ALCS last year was a good start, but it's just the beginning. Here's hoping they can pull it off before Congress shuts em down.
