TO is very “girlish” like in his behavior, but that being said, he can also take a five yard slant to the house at any time. I hate T.O. for A LOT of reasons:

He chewed out an assistant coach on the sideline of a game for the world to see. Unless that coach broke out the n-word or talked about his momma that was uncalled for.
He basically acted like a fool to guarantee that he would get traded. The dude even called his quarterback gay. That’s some kindergarten $hit.
When he got traded he cried because he didn’t get traded to a team that he wanted to go to. He didn’t have a trade approval clause in his contract. The 49’s could have traded him to a CFL team if they wanted to. I am not saying that’s right but that’s how the rules work.
He has the nerve to go on TV and say that he is doing this so that he can take care of his family. That he is doing this for the important people in his life like his mom. Bull$hit!!! At least be a man and say that you want money, a lot of money, more money than Mr. McNabb makes. Then I could have some respect for him because he was honest.
Players should not dis their teammates in public. And if you are a wideout you REALLY shouldn’t talk about the quarterback. Especially if that quarterback is Donovan McNabb. The dude is one of the bright sports of professional sports. A player that doesn’t complain and works hard. He could have said a big F.U. to Philly when he was drafted (remember they didn’t want him) but he just shut up and played. He could have given a REALLY big F.U. to Rush Limbaugh but he just kept his mouth shut and played. T.O. will not will any battles against Mr. McNabb in the court of public opinion.

The dude is a grown a$$ man when it comes to on the field talent but off the field he needs to grow up real quick.

TO did make Garcia look good, but it wasn’t all on him. Garcia did better than anyone could have expected because of the offensive system in place. What few mention is that the same system benefits receivers as well by giving QB’s so many options and defenses so few. Let’s not forget TO’s breakout moment: The “Catch II” in the playoff game against the Packers, where TO had no right to even SURVIVE those hits the Packers DB’s laid on him in the end zone, much less hold on to the ball. And lets also not forget that TO was dropping balls left and right for the 59 minutes of the game prior to that.

There’s no doubt that TO is a playmaker, and for my money, the best WR in the league. But the QB is what makes it all happen. Rice is a HOF receiver no matter who the QB is, but he doesn’t hold a 7,000 yd+ margin on the all time list if he doesn’t have Montana and the woefully underapppreciated Steve Young throwing him the ball for umpteen years. For that matter, how many yards does Tim Brown have if he’s got Young scrambling and tossing the ball 40 yds downfield on a dead run instead of catching balls from guys like Hostetler, Gannon, et. al.?

TO is no different. He’s had the luxury of playing with Young to start his career and McNabb (a legend in the making) currently. Only when he had an (only) above average QB in Garcia did he start to piss and moan and complain. He’s a great receiver, but if he thinks he has it bad now, then he should think about what would have happened if the NFL had let the trade to Baltimore stand. TO needs to recognize that he’s one trade deadline away from being the #1 option in the lague for the #32 QB.

TO turns QBs into hall of famers. Do you remember Mcnabb’s “accuracy” problem 2 years ago?

TO even had Jeff Garcia looking like a Pro Bowler.

I agree that TO has done a lot to make McNabb and Garcia look good, but there’s a problem–no receiver in the history of this league has been the single reason a team won a Super Bowl. Even though Jerry Rice was the best player on the 49ers, no one could definitively say that he was the reason they won those Super Bowls. That’s something that still works against TO.

I guess the motto here is: Win some damned championships before you can cry and bitch about who’s paying you….

Please, it’s the NFL…Philly made it to the Super Bowl without TO in the playoffs… TO didn’t knock the crap outta Alge Crumpler in the playoffs…Lil’ Ho don’t play defense… Hell..Westbrook was more valuable, and is more valuable, to the Eagles’ offense than Lil’ Ho..please believe it..

No NFL contractt is worth the years written on paper. We all know that. You have to get that bonus money, and TO’s contract is short on that. His mistake was that he didn’t fire his boy/old agent immediately after he forgot to file the necessary paperwork to make him a free agent. Had he done that then, this negotiation would have taken place early, and this issue would be circumvented.

TO is MONEY. There is no WR in the game that can match his game changing abilities. With greatness comes privilege. Did you ever hear of the “Jordan Rules”?

The sound of TO’s flapping gums is the price that has to be paid for his greatness. Philly is talking a good game, but they will NOT let him leave.

Let’s not forget that the Pistons established the Jordan Rules as a way to defend him. Sam Smith just made that his book’s title. The question now is whether any receiver with bad hands can afford to talk this damn much.

I’m in the “A” myself and I agree with the assesment that TO and Ron would be a bad mix. Ron seems to enjoy sycophantic tendencies of his teammates. TO will bow to NO MAN!!

Sure he needs to shut his mouth…but only about his teammates, specifically Donovan McNabb. You don’t bite the hand that feeds. Especially when said hand is connected to a god in the City of Brotherly Love.

Otherwise, even though Philly will hate him (and it’ll be really, reeeeeally bad), he’s fine by me. What’s wrong with him trying to get his money? He’s worth as much as a Harrison and almost as much as a Moss. And there’s nothing to stop the Eagles from cutting his ass at any time for any reason, leavin’ him with no money. Then he whined like a lil’ ho again when San Fran traded him to the Ravens..punked the NFL into negating the trade…because he wanted to play with McNabb in Philly..

Last season he was decent, by TO behavior standards..and actually got props for playing well on a bad ankle in the Super Bowl….and what does he do when mainstream media starts backin off of him….you got it right: started whinin’ like a lil’ ho….

He’s the best WR in the game who’s not named Marvin Harrison..but he runs his mouth too much, just like a lil’ ho…I say Philly Keyshawn Johnson that arse…sit him out for a year to cool his heels…

TO is an awesome player but someone needs to tell him to shut up! Do you have any idea how many men (and women) would play ball for a $49 million payday !?! I’m always down for milkin’ the mans pockets since they owe us anyway. But sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and honor the contract that you signed. Even after taxes and agent/lawyer fees $49 million will ‘feed your family’ for many, many years.

p.s. on a sidenote, I’m through with TO since he’s been sportin’ all these melanin-challenged women on his arm at every event he attends…sorry, that’s just the way I feel.
