Long day…

…and it ain’t even 1pm.

Anyway, nothing like having one of those days that makes you seriously question whether hard work has any real correlation to professional mobility and then reading about this sorry sumbitch.

Clearly, I should have made better friends. If I had, I’d be rich. Or at least not broke. Or at least at a point of stability.

   Keep the faith, man. We may not live in a pure meritocracy, but if we don’t work toward it, we never will.

   By the way, did you catch the Boondocks premiere last night? Classic. I still think I like the comic better (not so much gratuitous use of the N word), but still. Classic.

2. I can’t say I’m surprised in the least. Hmm..must be nice to be white, male and mediocre because if coupled with the right connections it looks like that’s all you need in life to get by.
