on a very different note, typos in bo's blog or not... he hopped onto the front page today when Tiger ended his 5-game winning streak with an article on "dominance" that is quite worth a reading...

i highly doubt he'll get the same kind of angry emails from tiger golf geek fans about how he's stupid to say jim brown was more dominant.

on another different note, i've got a topic idea for you, bo: movie roles that tiger woods could have if he took a break from golf.

my ideaRs... screetch in the "saved by the bell" movie (no doubt in the works as a.c. slater is back in the public's eye thanks to that dancing show), carlton in the "fresh prince" movie, and then maybe urkel in the "family matters" movie. he's a millionairre but he could slide into the nerdy fake-teen role in old TV show movie re-hashes quite quickly.

or maybe Vince McMahon could use him to revive wrastlin' wratin's on monday nights...

I understand. I'm not really being serious - obviously these people are not skilled writers but I think it would make more sense to talk about how their points are invalid rather than bag on them for their crappy writing abilities. I understand that this is more or less just for entertainment purposes, and again, I'm not sticking up for them, I'm just offering my opinion.

Shot Clock:

Dude, you CANNOT be serious. Besides, there's a difference between a typo and typing in phonetics. We all make typos. Only JimBob in East Jibeebee, Appalachia can say "Except the wwe gives you a little bit more that keeps you hanged."

And the wrong use of "to" appears in the line "they're not to bright" - that should definitely be a "too."

I understand that this is just a quick blog and you do it for free, and I completely agree with the fact that these people sending you e-mails about your column on the WWE is completely moronic, but if we're going to be picky then we could point out a few mistakes in Bo's writing too. For instance, the "to" instead of the "too" in his blog for today. I'm not defending the idiots sending in these ridiculous e-mails but just saying that Bo's a writer by profession and he still makes mistakes/typos.

Not to seem sensitive or anything, but I don't really see the comparison on this one. Big difference between inadvertently making a mistake and being unable to conjugate verbs. And we're not even talking about those tricky irregular ones. Just verbs.

I love dissecting these emails. Let's move on to Al. Al says Bo is disrespecting the sport of wrestling by calling it wrassling. WTF!

I will give it to you that there is great athleticism put forth by these wrasslers, I mean wrestlers. He compares the wrestler's athleticism to linemen. Why can't wrestler's who are making a jump to the NFL, unable to carry their own weight when going up against "overweight linemen"?
