FYI,

The majority of Black Pananamians are of Jamaican descent. They came to work the Banama plantations that used to flourish there and to build the Panama Canal along with many other manual-labor and low paying jobs. They mostly reside in Colon along the Carribean Coast of Panama and still live there and have also migrated to Panama City (Capital of Panama) mostly. Colon is a cool place but the average white person might think it's too dangerous for them.

I don't know if I should take a bow or apologize for looking like one of those brain donors that thinks he's the star of the comment section.

Tiffany, Evan, Jaeda...my Jamaican food experiences are limited, but still...no thanks.

Clarence - I stole that line from somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can remember where. Lewis Black maybe?

I don't understand how two people commented on what Kirk said but failed to mention how hilarious "sweet tapdancing Christ" was. Whew that was funny.

Thanks Kirk.

Kirk, come on now. Unless you're eating Jamaican in the middle of Kansas like every Chinese buffet in the south then something's amiss.

At least once a month I'm at Millie's Caribbean here in Orlando for jerk, rice & peas and home made fruit punch. Can't tell me there's anything wrong with them.

Okay Kirk-you didn't have to go there with the Jamaican food! I grew up on, love it, and am none the worse for wear. :) Now, Jamaican food cooked by Panamanians...ya might have an argument there. I've been to this particular establishment--more inauthentic Jamaican cuisine is hard to find.

he got his food anyway?!?!? And ate it IN the restaurant?

He must have been on some Jedi mind sh*t right there, cause even making the suggestion that you might wanna keep an 12.00 oxtail meal after they refunded you your money would get you straight mash up here.

Kirk- I take it you don't like Jamaican food?

Three problems here:

1) You exercised such phenomenally poor judgement that you not only ate Jamaican food, but you did so intentionally, AND you paid real honest-to-God money for it.

Ok, I lied...it's one problem. But sweet tapdancing Christ, why would you ever eat Jamaican food on anything other than a dare? You're smarter than that...knock it off. No pity.
