Back in '95 or '96, my family decided to go visit some relatives in New York City. Mom, Dad, my brother and I all hop in the car, drive three hours down to Manhattan, chilled for a while and then we all went to get some fixings for a nice dinner. Fresh vegetables and meat from a nice market.

Well, we parked on the street and got most of the stuff back up to the apartment. We came back down to get the the rest, only to find that the trunk of our '92 Camry has been jimmied open and the only thing left in the car - a box of tomatoes - is gone.

That's right. In NYC, I had a box of tomatoes jacked from my car.

Couple of years ago I had the same thing happen to me and my girl's car. Some amature jackass decided they wanted my CD player. One problem though: the moron forgot to bring a screwdriver with him (I had someone try the same thing before, so I bolted the player in the dash), and he couldn't get it out. This festering turd decided to look around and get what he could, so he took 1/2 my cd collection (I had it in 2 flip cases and he only took 1), my tire iron and jack, and a 12 pack of walmart orange soda that I left in the trunk. Yes, that fucker took my orange soda! New back window; $120.00. CD collection; $1000.00. Knowing some ignorant bastard is enjoying your orange soda only because he's a shitty criminal; Priceless

If I didn't know better, I'd think you were suggesting that I get annoyed by a lot of stuff. That's the sort of thing that really pisses me off.

Much better than the cats that stole a diplomat's car and left it in my driveway a couple years back.

Had the feds at my house and everything.

I don't think it's too much to ask for a little professionalism, Bo. Either be good at your craft or find a new one.

In high school one of the guys on our team had his car broken into and the stereo stolen. It happened over a weekend when we were at a tournament. They got in, removed the dash, took what they wanted, and then replaced the dash. No broken windows, no open trunk. Skilled field technicians, no doubt.

i dislike amateur thieves only slightly less than i like those dumb asses who just break car windows for shits and giggles. that happened to me one snowy night in boston and, well, let's just say, that's enough to kill the greatest buzz instantly.
