Its all the integrations fault that racist jokes arent funny any more. In the old days smart white folks had to hang out with the dumb ones and they wanted to be liked so they made them laugh. Now-a-days anyone can hang out with anyone. No one will stop you. So dumb white folks have to come up with their own jokes. They can’t even depend on comedians like Michael Richards for help. Politics is the last bastion for popular dumb white folks. They feel the pressure to fill the joke void. Really its not there fault , its what the dumb people who voted for them want. Plus it would be politically incorrect to hire a racist joke writer (probably jewish anyway). Its a no win situation for the dumb whites these days.

Rusty is an ass. That much is obvious to anyone.

But, just like you probably don’t want anyone lumping all black people together, don’t lump all white people together either. I doubt Rusty and I have anything in common except the color of our skin, and his comment made me cringe.

I agree–brilliant writing here. And also very true. The “excuse” that whatever nonsense was “just a joke” or that Blacks (or whoever) are oversensitive and “can’t take a joke” ignores the fact that these are not even funny, let alone novel. We Black folks do a pretty good job of laughing at ourselves. But a lot of this ish here? Ho-hum.

Maybe this is a good sign? Maybe racist “humor” has jumped the shark and this nonsense is on its way out?

Well, one can hope…

Very interesting and helpful info! Had not thought about this before. But I agree. What’s the point of being hateful if you’re not going to jazz it up a bit with some clever wordplay.

I did recently, however, compile a list of some decent punchlines from some noteworthy favorites. Turned into a fun guessing game.

Genius and on point as usual. However, I would dare to say that while we think the joke is tired and lazy, dude’s folks probably got a good laugh out of it so while he didn’t score any bonus points, he connected with HIS folks. It seems to be a general misunderstanding out there that she’s fair game for out of pocket comments though. While it’s admirable that she’s not stooping to respond, I do wish someone would call people out on the disrespect.

I do love how the internet is putting folks on blast and allowing for a more honest discussion of race relations. Now we’re able to really see where people stand.
