Hip Hop Boot Camp Photos

A while ago, I posted a link to something about Joe Jackson’s Hip Hop Boot Camp. Many people thought it was false.
Here are photos to prove that it was, in fact, real.
If you give me a little while, I might be able to find the audio from Joe’s interview on Hot 97 about the boot camp. I was not able to listen to it, but Josie tells me it’s priceless.
And really, who expected anything less?

  1. The only thing that could make me laugh more is to know that Joe is in negotiations for his bootcamp to become a reality show. Somehow I think he might give Bobby Brown a run for his money.

  2. Hey, this is funny. On the other hand, Joe didn’t create just one star, he groomed a house full of celebrities. All of the Jackson’s have been in the spotlight at one time or another and you’d better believe that Joe had his hand in the mix.

  3. All of this is just absolutely absurd. It looks like the damn thing was held inside of an abandoned basement, and his boot campers look like they collectively couldn’t turn on a mic if their lives depended on it, much less do something interesting with it once they did.
And in the group shots, did anyone else see the two white guys in the upper right corner? They look like they’re either scared shitless or very very angry.
Joe Jackson, this is the last straw. First you unleash LaToya on the world, then you let Janet shack up with a midget pimp, and now this. Something has to be done.

  4. Strongforu is right, Joe Jackson did have a hand in the success of the J-5 and Janet Jackson. The problem was there was a belt in it. I just hope that parents aren’t sending their kids to this mess.
And leave Janet and the midget pimp alone. I love it when a short dude gets a high quality woman. Prince has made a career of it.
Jermaine Dupri proves that there is hope for guys like me. If he can pull a woman like Janet Jackson I should have no problems getting with Gabrielle Union or Tyra Banks.

  5. Hahaha… at first I was thinking Joe Jackson must be some non-celebrity acquaintance of yours, because the background of those pictures was seriously not a venue… more like the back of one of my parents’ friends’ restaurants where the folks sing a little karaoke on Saturday nights.
