HBO SPORTS ORDERS GAME THEORY WITH BOMANI JONES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n HBO has ordered GAME THEORY WITH BOMANI JONES<\/strong>, a weekly, late-night series starring Emmy\u00ae<\/sup>-winning, sports journalist and commentator Bomani Jones, that will break down timely issues playing out in the world of sports. Production will take place in New York starting in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jones is currently a contributor on HBO\u2019s \u201cBack on The Record with Bob Costas\u201d and has appeared in the HBO Sports documentaries, \u201cThe Battle for Tobacco Road: Duke vs. Carolina\u201d and \u201cRunnin\u2019 Rebels.\u201d With over 15 years in sports media, Jones continues to enrich sports commentary in his own unique style. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBomani is one of the most unique journalists working today,\u201d said Nina Rosenstein, executive vice president of programming, HBO<\/strong>. \u201cHe\u2019s someone who gets that sports stories are often about race, politics, economics and gender, and sees a wider view that goes beyond what happens on the field.
