You are all of my favorite Texas rappers in one. You have Pimp C’s realness, Bun B’s respect in the streets, Tobe Nwigwe’s passion for the people, and Z-ro’s ability to stay true to himself.
Now that I gave you some flowers…
I haven’t heard anyone compare the Redskins’ situation to that of the Washington Bullets, ahem Wizarding.
I found that in order to get some people to understand this whole racism thing, we have to repackage it under something they already agree with or has historical truth, i.e. the NBA team formerly known as the Washington Bullets. If my memory serves me correctly, the name change was due to violence within the Capital. Correct?
Anyway, I don’t know if you or anyone else have used this viewpoint. I just know I haven’t heard it. It does offer some very interesting parallels.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Keep doing your thing, brother!
Love and respect.
