I must admit something–I can’t name a single other member of the band other than Adam Duritz. That’s largely because, well, I’m really not that curious. I don’t know why, considering they’re a strong band. But yeah, don’t know who none of them are. Not a soul. For all I know, my cousin Shaka–happy belated, sir–is the bass player.
So I decided to try to fix that today. Went to AllMusic.com.
This came back.
AllMusic didn’t even bother to mention the dudes’ names. Now that’s just cold-blooded.

I actually have a few of their CDS, but I have NO idea what any of the bandmembers’ names are! In fact, I didnt know what they looked like, as I dont have cable. I came to like them (late) by listening to the radio. On Mondays, I play a different “eclectic oldies” video; perhaps Ill get around to them one day, lol.

I loved August and Everything After, but I never got into anything else.

Well, at least he won’t feel the need to leave the band to “find” himself or get “his” name out there. That’s lead singer security for the rest of the band.

You know it’s strange that you’re discussing Counting Crows, I too only know of Adam. Here’s the strange part though. I’m from Gastonia, North Carolina and Holbrook is the name of the junior high (7th-9th grade), now known as Middle School 6th-8th grade) and my 9th grade year (’94-’95) the yearbook staff (including myself) named that year’s annual “August and Everything After”…….I guess that is strange to me because the title of an album in which most of us only knew the name of the lead singer was “significant” enough to us to title our yearbook after the name of their most significant album……oh well….la di da……

I’ve been a fan of the Counting Crows for like ever. This new CD came out with Adam Durtz [by the way is his name] recording with an other band. It’s pretty cool. I want to know who the members from this unknown band are. I love them
