Does it make me a bad professor…

…because I’m hitting “refresh” on the Web site that lists delays and closings due to severe weather like I’ve got an exam that I’m not prepared for?

Tiffany’s from Wisconsin. A fellow Wisconsinite.
I refuse to use the term “cheesehead”.

The trouble with teaching an occasional fitness class in Wisconsin is that a foot of snow doesn’t seem to stop my gym from closing. Stop trippin’ over that inch o’ snow you’re getting.

Tiffany, let’s see you work out midday in the middle of July in the heat and humidity down here. My bet is that you wouldn’t last twenty minutes.
By the way, when it’s 70 degrees and sunny down here (which can happen any day of the winter, actually) come back and mock us for our good weather. We’ll be grousing about having to work on those days as well.

Sometimes you just want a day off. That’s being human.

Charles-I worked out in at least 6 hot North Carolina summers! I also have spent a decent amount of time in West Africa (also in the summer). Lastly, I survived my 6th grade health teacher’s unforgettably hot breath and lived to tell the tale.
