Lil’ Ol’ Me would never wanna drive gas prices up, but I recommend you hit the station soon.
It’s gotta suck to leave one storm to just run into a stronger one.

There’s already talk (again) of price caps and a gouging investigation. Assuming there are more loans from the national reserve and various foreign entities, like with Katrina, I don’t think it’ll make $5. $4, however, wouldn’t surprise me a bit.

I am having an I told you so moment. I have been telling people for the last year that gas was going to be much higher. People looked at me like I was nuts. I wrote one of my first blogs about gas prices and argued that it would be $5 soon. I’ll have to move up the date on that blog. Truthfully, I couldn’t predict the Hurricanes, but I knew that our supply is getting lower and the demand is not changing (or maybe going up). Now with the Hurricanes; my prediction could come true before I expected it.
I do think demand will change. Not because people will drive less, but because people will start making changes in their vehicular choices. That’ll take a while, though.
