Just got asked my room number on my way in the hotel for the second time today. Buddy also asked me to show my room key. Earlier, the woman at the desk nearly pissed herself when I asked about wireless in the rooms.
Goodness, I hope they watch that documentary.

heh- the myth of the Big Bad Negro/ Negress is international, jack. Don’t be suprised if they ask you again for your room key, and maybe a photo ID just to be sure.(happened to me before- and I’m about as non threatening as you can get…besides, what burglars wear 4 inch heels?)
Hope you’re having a wonderful time otherwise though.

Next time they do that, ask them for ID proving they’re an employee. Then, whether they do or don’t have it, ask to see the manager for verification before you show them the key or give them the number. Then, if you get the manager, complain about the employee while he’s standing there, and use the magic “harassment” word. Or, failing that, punch him in the throat, then set his balls on fire.
