So I’m listening to the remix to my new favorite song, “Throw Some D’s.” I hear Andre 3000 leading off. Just like he led off the “Walk It Out” remix.
Now I don’t purport myself to be a genius, but this is a tad befuddling. I mean, his verses on these songs are hot. But I was under the impression he didn’t wanna rap no more so he could become an inconsistent crooner. So how is it that he didn’t wanna rap with Big Boi, but he’s down to rap with UNK and Rich Boy?
I don’t get it. Is the internal tension that bad? Hypotheses, please.

big boi is in the walk it out remix… here’s a question for you: does it seem like dre is snapping on rappers like those in UNK? Just curious.

Dre is still trying to connect with his 8-14 audience, to push his Class of 3000 project on Cartoon Network.
Tis’ the only thing I can come up with.

Man, I’m thinking he was trying to satisfy contractual obligations to his label. Kind of like Eminem on Akon’s Smack That.
