Don't forget about the worker bees

One mistake I’ve made in this financial meltdown is not considering the large number of good people caught up in this mess. Not everyone in that game is a crook. Most people, when you think about it, are worker bees like me and you. We do what we’re told in homes of one day being able to do what we want.
Or, for those of you into some things, you’re waiting for the day that you get to tell people what to do. More work. Yeah!!
But check this resignation letter the New York Times got a hold of.
Couple of thoughts…
1. This is how you quit a job, if you’re not in the “we don’t need no water” crowd, if you know what I mean. It’s debatable whether anyone of consequence reading this gives a damn about it, but dude can say he said it.
2. Parts of this are really tragic.
3. Damn, this really is a scary time.

  1. Very scary times. Although it’s hard to be sympathetic to someone “only” receiving three quarters of a million dollars, the writer’s perspective shows how little of the real story is being told. We’re all being played for suckers in the political theater. It’s clear that many good people are on the “bad” side and that sorting it all out just in terms of this AIG mess won’t produce helpful results. I don’t know if we as a nation could ever really handle the whole truth of what is going on right now.
