Keep parents off MySpace!

This isn’t a new story, but it’s worth pointing out to those that haven’t seen it.
As clearly stated in the piece, there are no laws that cover this sort of behavior.  However, if there’s ever been a reason to revoke custody of one’s children, this is it.  If parents can’t be trusted to be less petty and silly than their children, then we’re in a really bad place.
As if that ain’t the place we’re in already.

  1. This mess is so wild. I’m glad the parents’ names are being publicized as of late. Hopefully they will suffer some form of retribution.
I do question the parents’ choice to not sue them civilly though. A wrongful death suit seems clear.

  2. I saw the story on Dateline I think. But those parents need to stand trial for that. They let this girl believe that some boy was interested in her for a month, then dropped her like a hot potato, all under the guise of a hoax. Just evil.

  3. OK, I usually pride myself on being “in the know” but I haven’t heard about this “case” you guys are speaking of, so could someone enlighten me on what’s going on or give me a resource in which I can read about it. You can send the info to my email DukeFan79@carolina.rr.com
    Thanks!!

  4. Ashley, take your right-hand, hover the cursor of your mouse over the link in the original post above named, “This isn’t a new story.” Then click.
When you see a blue, underlined text in this blog, it means it is an internet link to another story Bo is referencing.
Seems like a few more things you should be “in the know” about.

  5. Aw hell naw! This is horrible. I hadn’t heard about this either. I’m glad the woman’s name is out there too – she deserves some “what goes around, comes around” action on that one.
P.S. What’s up fam! Hope all is well. I’ll stop by more often.
