Vince Young

Business…some time after 12 EST, I’ll have a joint on ESPN.com’s Page 2 on the prospect of Vincent Young joining the Texans. I’m not going to be able to update this with a live link for a while, but you can check this link to get to the piece after that time passes.
And if that link ain’t up by 1pm, somebody call me.
For my googly fan-like take on the Rose Bowl, check below.

  1. Nice work, but I doubt Vince would get picked over Bush by anyone. I still think him being #2 is a bit more plausible than a lot of people give credit for, though.

  2. Nice piece. Maybe it’s because I’m a Bruins fan, but I think Young is more exciting to watch than Bush. I know Bush is supposed to go #1, but he didn’t win his team the Rose Bowl. Young did. Shouldn’t that count for something when draft time comes?
And, sorry to say it, but if Vince Young goes to the Texans, I will just cry. That team is like a black hole for talent. Speaking of Black Holes, I say he goes to the Raiders.
    Wishful thinking? I know. Whatever.

  4. I watched Vince closely for the first time this year. He lived up to the hype in all of the big games.
When I hear the proclamations of the Texans to take Bush, I hear echoes of the 1984 Portland Trailblazers front office.
If they take Bush, over Young, they will regret it.
