Quick Business Update

Yo, hate to do this, but just in case you’ve been looking for the column on Africana, things have changed a little bit. As many of you know, Africana was bought by AOL in 2001. Well, its content is being folded into Black Voices. While that’s great for exposure and all that fun stuff, it’s a bit more difficult to go directly to my offering of madness. So, if you click the link to the right on “For Myself and Others,” it’ll take you to the first four entries. To see the new new, click the link that says “AOL Black Voices,” and that will take you to the BV music page, and the column won’t be hard to get to from there. It goes up on Fridays now, though the time of the update will change from week to week. Per usual, I’ll put a link to the newest entry in the most immediate post.
That’s right, shameless self-promotion at its finest. Later in the week, I’ll bring you snippets from the end of the acquisition of Bomaniland, which must have been secretly sponsored by Murphy and his iron-clad law.
Also, if you’re at home on Tuesday, check your local listings and peep The Larry Elder Show. Now, I’m not a fan of Elder, but jimi izrael will be appearing. I almost wanna put a TV in my classroom just to watch it like they used to do for space shuttle liftoffs.
Let’s just hope this ain’t like the Challenger.
