Well, I’ll be headed to Atlanta today. No fun this time, though.
FYI, Kenyon is my godson. Tanisha’s a friend of mine. If you’re the praying type, send a couple up.
And if you’ve followed this case any, there is one thing I feel obligated to clarify. Initial reports said the man in custody was believed to be the baby’s father. That is not true. The father of the child is one of my best friends, essentially family. He did not do this.
And shame on the news outlets and Atlanta police for reporting that. Imagine how I felt Sunday morning when I read that my boy was supposedly in jail. Imagine how my folks felt when Channel 2 reported that the father was the suspected shooter…and then showed a frame of my man crying because someone very close to him was just killed.
Step your game up, folks. Those nameless people are just that–people.

Here’s hoping that justice is painful and merciless.

i’ll be praying for both you and your folk.
Dope? Wow. Well, my boy did a clear interview with Channels 2 and 5 to get things straight.

Allow me to reintroduce myself–my name is Apologetic!!! I haven’t been to Virtualy Bomaniland in AGES, but I took a day off to do nothing but nothing, and I’m catching up on my reading. I read the “Thank You” post, so I know that the kid’s all good, but I’ll send a few words up for him and family anyhow.
