Let me guess, you’d prefer more incessant TO talk. If you can’t stomach a week of hype in anticipation of the 2 best teams in the AFC again, maybe you should ditch sports and start covering something you like. It sure beats the never ending barrage of NY Giants and Dallas stories we get clobbered with all season for no other reason than they are a bunch of loud mouths (who don’t win anything by the way)
I can’t help but sense a bit of racism in your story. If Brady and Manning were African-American I bet you’d think this was the greatest rivalry ever.

I’m wonderbread white and I want to stick a fork in my eye whenever I hear about Brady or Manning. Kevin’s a moron. A rivalry has to be when both sides give a crap. The only good thing about this game is that one of them has to lose.

However, that tends to be a big “reason” for things these days, especially on talk radio, which (in Chicago) are notorious for sly, racist comments. I suppose you can play race into just about anything if you wanted to, justified or not.
