It's Like Christmas

Business…here’s a look at the latest turn in the Carolina-Duke rivalry.
Seriously, this is the best day of the year.  Forget signing day…it’s Carolina-Duke.  I just sat in a restaurant humming Carolina’s fight song and telling people in Carolina gear that they had on nice sweatshirts and promptly ending all conversation with those who wanted to talk about anything other than this game.  It’s like that, shawty.
But I must tell you briefly about something I just saw on ESPNU.  Terrance Tolliver, one of the top receivers in America, signed with LSU.  I’ve folllowed Tolliver because he went to high school a couple of towns away from where I went to high school, close enough that I’m seeing his last name and thinking of who he could be related to.
Anyway, the reason he said he wasn’t interested in playing at Texas was that he wanted to go out of state to see what the rest of the world had to offer.
But his last choices were Florida and LSU.
Gainesville and Baton Rouge are what he wanted to see?  Sometimes, the jokes tell themselves.

Well maybe he’ll do like almost every other LSU player has done….take the MLK (I-110) North, get off on Harding Blvd. and go across the hump to chill….
