I haven’t celebrated Juneteenth since I lived in the South. The West Coast just aint into it like that. I still miss going down to the Boley rodeo or down to Ft.Worth and it was CRACKIN!!

In Milwaukee, it just seems to be a day to close off MLK Jr Drive, and the black folks have a 3 mile long block party.
Am I far off on this?
Because it’s so hot in Phoenix in June, some cities have their Juneteenth celebrations in February. Hilarious.
