Jones relaunches TRT podcast on Wave Sports + Entertainment aired on October 23, 2023
Season 1 of HBO sports series Game Theory with Bomani Jones debuts. Bomani hosted and executive produced the late night HBO series, welcoming new viewers to his nuance commentary. The weekly sports show launched Oct. 7th, 2022 in NYC.
Jones hosts the daily ESPN television studio show High Noon, alongside co-host Pablo Torre

And since there probably aren’t any good games on tomorrow at work they will probably play your interview over and over about 10 times!!

re:ESPN…well done, Bomani…people need to realize that while this particular incident is Duke’s and Durham’s, the larger issues of classism, entitlement, and sexism exist at every college campus, and affect every college’s relationship with it’s host community…In parallel, I’m a business owner in a resort community, and many an indignity is bestowed upon myself, my employees and this host community by it’s temporary occupants who feel their money and status entitles them to demean and belittle those of us who “wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for their money”. I think I can speak for Durham, my own community, and many others like ours, and all the genders and races contained therein, when I say,”I would absolutely be here without your money”.
Before anyone gets too hyped up, just remember I claimed him years ago, when he was a nobody. And I’m not beneath shanking a mofo.
You only looked a little sleepy. LOL!! But you did good. They threw you some softballs, and you were able to give very diplomatic responses that didnt avoid the larger issues.
Hopefully, they’ll call you again next time.
